Itinerary -


Day 01: Delhi - Manali (510 kilometers/ 12- 13 hours)

Catch your AC Volvo from one of the meeting points in Delhi to Manali. Overnight journey.

Day 02: Manali

Upon arrival in Manali, you will be transferred to hotel for relaxing. In the afternoon visit Hadimba temple and the evening enjoy at mall road. Explore the charming hamlet and get a whiff of the life of the locals. Overnight stay and Lunch at Manali hotel.

Day 03: Manali - Jagatsukh - Khanul (2020 meters) (6 kilometers motorable and 4 kilometers trek)

Rise and Shine and get ready for your first day trekking expedition. In the first half, you will go for a six kilometers drive to Jagatsukh. From Jagatsukh, you will start trekking uphill till Khanul. Far below the campsite, you will see Manali Valley of Flowers and to the east stands the mighty mountains coated with snow. Overnight stay and dinner in Khanul camp.

Day 04: Khanul - Chhika (2,960 meters)

Today after leaving Khanul camp, you will start trekking downhill for six kilometers till Chhika. Overnight stay and dinner in Chhika camp.

Day 05: Chhika - Seri (3,390 meters)

On today's uphill trekking, you can see the breathtaking view of Deo Tibba. After few kilometers, you will walk in the meadow carpeted with an astounding variety of herbs and alpine flowers, which were once a glaciated lake. Camp and overnight stay in Seri basecamp.

Day 06: Seri - Chandratal or Taina Alpine Plateau (4,570 meters) (19 kilometers)

With an early morning breakfast, start trekking to Chandratal via trails surrounded by flowers. During the journey to Chandratal, you will pass by the base camp of Deo Tibba peak. The flora enthusiast will have a great time trying to identify the hundreds of flowers growing everywhere, and the tiny lake provides some excellent views of Deo Tibba and others peaks of Manali and Spiti ranges. Camp and overnight stay at Chandratal tent.

Day 07: Trek - Bhanara Village

Start the day with a descent, and move ahead on a steep downward slope till Bhanara Village. Overnight stay and dinner at Bhanara Village

Day 08: Bahnara - Manali

Today you will visit the ancient temple in Bahnara and Arjun Gufa. At Bahnara, we will embark on a long drive till Manali. Overnight stay and camp at Manali camp.

Day 09: Manali to Delhi (570 kilometers/14 hours)

Half day sightseeing at Manali, visit old Manali, Hadimba temple, Shiva temple and monastery in town are attractions, by evening drive to Delhi by AC Volvo coach. Overnight journey.

Day 10: Delhi

Best Time to Visit Deo Tibba Trek

Mid-June to Mid-October
During the early months of the year, there are chances of snow on high passes, which considerably melts by August. During the monsoon season, Kullu-Manali area remains affected due to rain, but when we talk about the high places like Lahaul and Spiti, the weather remains warm and sunny (12-20 °C) during the day, while the night temperature could be in minus (-2 to 6 °C). During the September and October, trekkers can experience a good weather, with little snowfall. With the onset of October, the day temperature is hovering around 12-18 °C but the evening starts getting comparatively colder with (- 6) to 4 °C.

Where is the Jagatsukh to Base of Deo Tibba Trek ?

Located at an elevation of 6100 m towards the South-Eastern face of the Manali city, Deo tibba peak is quite famous amongst the trekkers. To reach the hill, trekkers will have to cross ancient villages like Sethan, Panduropa, Rauri kholi, Jogidugh, to name a few.

By Airways: Bhuntar Airport in Kullu is the nearest airport from Prini, the starting point of our trek. The second nearest airport is Chandigarh International Airport.
By Railways: Jogindernagar railway station is the nearest railhead to Manali. Other railway stations nearby the city are in Chandigarh and Pathankot.
By Roadways: Manali has a good network of roads which links the major cities - Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Haridwar, Shimla, Dharamsala and Chamba/Dalhousie. On a regular basis, one can see many taxis and buses, run by Himachal Pradesh Tourism, to reach Manali.
